Bio/Description:
As a young (goblin) child, Klakk always dreamed of libraries, and books (of which the Goblin tribe had only one), he longed to see the world around, where the other Goblins were quite content pillaging it, and playing with spears and axes.
One night, as the tribe slept, he left. Sneaking out under the cover of darkness, he set forth on an adventure on his own, an adventure to find the Great Libraries of the world. For a year and day he travelled, taking scraps from the bins, and taking coins discarded in the hedgerows, and ditches, when finally he came across a mages tower. Tall, and made entirely of stone. He had always been told that mages held great knowledge, and lots of books, so, he went about trying to get inside. It took him two hours to find the enterance, (which was a large door, and it was open) but he managed to get inside, and made his way to the library, where he began to read the books (although he couldn't actually read, he just looked at the pictures).
By the morning, he was fast asleep, the wizard (being the kind folk) wondered why a Goblin would be reading, thus, instead of blasting him to Hell and back, he woke him, and questioned him. Klakk told the Mage everything, about how he wanted to see the world in the books, and read (and even write) about them. Being a kind soul, the wizard took the Goblin in as a servant, for four years Klakk served the wizard as a faithful companion, before he was old enough to be released, at the age of twenty, to fulfill his dreams and destiny. To see the world. |
