| Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. Drasune Stormtrade is a loner. This suits him and everyone around him since spell swords are often distrusted. His family and he never really got along well, and so he left at the age of 20 to attempt his life as a spell sword. He is also attempting to become a knight of the wyrm of sorts in service to Rofirein. Though a loner, Drasune will accept and give help in times of need, and makes for a good, if near silent, ally.

Also, as you state you want to become a Knight of the Wyrm in service to Rofirein, I suggest you add something about your character and his view on Rofirein's dogma (even though we normally only require that for clerics/paladins/champions, it might be a good idea as the Kinghts are part of the Church).
Finally, could you add just a little bit more on where he's from (you can find many towns in the handbook, or you can just pick a small village from the maps).

His family problems arose from the fact that his parents both dealt in illeagal trades, and since Drasune was studying in the service of Rofirein, it went against the very morals of his religion. Drasune finds the order of Rofirein suits him well, he finds that the world would collapse into evil without order and beleive in good justice. But he finds the life of living in one place to be boring and wishes to see the world while continuing his worship and so is attempting to become a knight of the wyrm of sorts in service to Rofirein. Though a loner, Drasune will accept and give help in times of need, and makes for a good, if near silent, ally.
