Having begun training at such a young age has made him rather strong and dexterous. This makes him a real power-house. To complement this, he usually uses two bastard swords; although he swings them rather recklessly. He has dreamed, multiple times, that he is to be called upon by the dragons to help fight in the war against Bloodstone. In part of this dream, he sees himself fighting the undead, whom he has a strong dislike for. (He does not know why, though.) Marshall informed his parents of this dream, the first time it occurred, and told them not to worry if he did not make it to breakfast one morning. He has above-average intelligence, and is currently studying Elvish, Dwarvish, and Under-common, which he is almost done learning. He also has enough common-sense to know who the true enemy is.
