Bio:

Kain was born in the town of Drake, western Mistone, just north of Far Reach, in
Oclar 1348. He was the first of three sons that his father Caesus and mother Selisa
had together. Kain's father earned coin as a hunter for hire. He would often lead
expeditions into Seilwood and the Broken Forest to hunt beasts and monsters for his
customers. Most were usually alchemists looking for natural resources or adventures
wishing to cross the forest. His mother was a tailor and a cook, making excellent
use of the meat and skins Caesus acquired from hunting.

Like his father, Kain was very daring and adventurous from the moment he could
walk. As a young boy he sometimes followed his fathers' expeditions halfway to the
forest without his knowledge. As he became old enough to properly wield a dagger,
he would venture further and further away from home. At first his brothers and
parents would shun this behaviour, ordering him to cease. However, learning that it
was nigh impossible to prevent it, they just began to accept his sense of
adventure.

Kain would sometimes meet up with his cousin Deodus, who's father Richlar is
Caesus' brother, in the town of Far Reach. Although they shared very different
interests, Deodus being the intellectual kind, they had a few exciting adventures
together and worked well as a team.

During his teenage years, he often adventured all the way to the Blood Desert,
fighting off small creatures in nothing more than his plain clothes, sometimes with
a friend or two tagging along. The ogres in the desert were usually the victims of
his sneaky pranks. He'd toss rocks in their direction and quickly hide, causing
confusion among them, and learning much about their reaction to intruders. This
highly amused Kain and his friends.

Once he turned 20, his father allowed him to help in the hunting expeditions, much
to his joy. After hunting for 6 years, Kain decided it was time for his own
adventure, and perhaps to meet up with his cousin in Hlint. He left his family in
the capable hands of his father and two brothers, knowing that they would be well
taken care of.
