| Gutchikk Fireblood Name: Gutchikk Fireblood
Sex: Male
Age: 38
Race: Goblin
Class: Druid
Alignment: CN
Diety: Pyrtechon
Short Bio/Desciption:
Gutchikk is a little over 4 feet tall. His skin is dark green and is mottled with an assortment of tattoos, scars, burns and skin diseases. Most of his body is exposed, however, the parts that are not are concealed with furs, leathers and pieces of metal haphazardly strewn together in a pathetic attempt to represent armor. He walks proud for a Goblin, and carries an array of trophies and treasures. These range from Kobold bones, Gnoll’s teeth and dried pieces of flesh, some dangling from leather strings, others attached to copper necklaces and other various lesser metals. Upon his back he carries a poorly made wooden shield and also carries a sickle that is pinned to his belt. He walks holding a staff and can often be seen riding his pet 'Wart’ which is a huge boar that he befriended many years ago. He speaks in broken heavily accented common, is extremely naïve and unintelligent, however, he is very boastful and subsequently confident of himself. It’s not uncommon to see him sniffing opal dust and chewing chunks of coal from time to time. This was a habit developed when he was the Clan Shaman and he believes it fuels his body with fire-blood thus giving him his title and he believes it makes him a chosen favourite from his god Pyrtechon.
Gutchikk wasn’t always known as 'Gutchikk Fireblood’. This title was given to him from himself after a unique sequence of events. Originally he was known as 'Gutchikk the Mad’. This began in his infant years within his small tribe who lived secretly within a pocket of Seilwood. His heritage originated from the Red Caves but his distant cousins kicked out his weaker descendants who fled into Seilwood where they live to this day. His clan lived many generations here and they all believed that they were direct descendants from the red dragons of old and therefore believed in Pyrtechon as their ultimate divinity. ((We all know that Goblins are not related to the dragon blood like kobolds are, however this is what the tribe believed regardless)).
In reverence to the Red Dragon and to Pyrtechon they erected a makeshift wooden totem of a dragons head which looked more like a turtles, that they celebrated and worshiped by lighting campfires and dancing around. They would do this weekly and the Clan Chief would initiate each celebration.
It was upon one celebration that Gutchikk adopted the title 'Mad One’.
During one ceremony he heard what he thought was laughter and chatter. In this particular part it was important to have absolute quiet as the clan chief carried out the familiar rituals. However at this moment he could not believe his ears. He snapped his head both ways but everyone was quiet, transfixed on the events transpiring. Then he heard it again and again. Who is it? Who dare laugh at chief boss he thought to himself? After some time he couldn’t take it any longer. He stood up and screamed “You stop dis now or big boss gut you good!”. His voice sounded like thunder and the suddenness of it startled the Chief who fumbled with a brand of fire and burnt himself. Shocked and now the centre of attention within a deathly circle of quiet, all eyes locked onto him. The boss, with rage evident in his eyes charged Gutchikk and began assaulting him with his fists. After the onslaught he dragged Gutchikk to the rim of the forest and kicked him in where he returned to complete the ceremony.
Gutchikk in his semi-conscious state opened his swollen eyes and viewed the blurred terrain. It was then he heard it again. This time much clearer and more near. It was a female voice and it was laughing in a light melodic chirping. He could have sworn he heard it say 'Silly goblin..hehehe...you are such a silly lot’. And to add to his astonishment the sound seemed to come from a little Wren dancing upon a branch overhead. At first he thought his blurry eyes and dreary state were confusing him, however, after a few rubs of the eyes and a shake of the head the bird was still there and mingled in with its tune he heard again that familiar laughter. Angry he sat up and looked at the bird “You stop dis right now you little feather ball!”. The bird stopped immediately and almost fell of its perch. It looked back at him “how is this so?...a green skin that can talk to me....hehehehe” and the bird flew off giggling as it left. He was absolutely overwhelmed with what just happened. He could talk to animals. That’s what he was hearing during the ceremony. Excited and forgetting the pains he got up and ran back to the ceremony.. “boss chief!...boss chief!!”, he bellowed as he ran back, once again halting the ceremony and causing a noticeable stir within the company. The Chief looked at him with angry eyes and said..”You better be good say or you not get up again Gutchikk!!”. “Yes boss its very good yes”, he replied excitedly. “Good news boss...Gutchikk is very special he is boss...Gutchikk can speak with animals...Gutchikk hear them speak boss, yes he did.”.
After he spoke there was a pause of absolute silence. Everyone around looked at each other as if silently communicating. Then all at once they erupted in laughter. The entire area, including the clan chief, were bellowing in amusement. Some were rolling on the floor, others had tears falling out.
Gutchikk was less than amused. The sudden outburst made him retaliate. “Its true I tell you!” he tried to scream over the racket. “Its true boss...the little bird out their told Gutchikk that you a silly green skin”. The whole crowd went immediately quiet after that. Once again the chief looked at Gutchikk with hatred and once again gave him a beating that brought him close to death.
After that event he was titled 'Gutchikk the Mad’ as no one believed it was possible he could speak with animals. Many years past and over time he was considered a runt in the clan. Unfortunately for Guthikk the voices never stopped. They actually increased since the wren that he spoke with during the ceremony just so happened to be a real chatterbox and told the whole forest about it. Now he had other birds, wolves, deer and many others that would pop past and call for him to come and chat. At least the clan got to feed well since the food source seemed to come to them.
Gutchikk would often try to block out the sounds and would often scream at them to stop. From the other goblins point of view he was a raving lunatic, however in reality he was a gifted individual.
Gutchikk put up with the constant teasing from both sides for five whole years. Then one day he finally reached breaking point and took measures to put an end to it.
During one night he picked up a burning branch from the campfire and ran through the forest lighting everything in his path. An inferno erupted behind him and his thoughts were if he couldn’t get rid of the sounds he would burn all the animals instead. He darted deep within the forest and soon everything around him was burning brightly. Unfortunately for his clan, the fires attracted a passing group of adventurers to investigate and they stumbled onto the goblin camp where they destroyed most of the clan besides some small goblin children and a few mothers who managed to flee. Fortunately for Gutchikk, when he returned to the now decimated clan, he was the oldest male and thus adopted the rank of Clan chief. Also since the only thing left standing was the totem, a silhouette amidst a circle of flame, he felt that it had been a blessing from his god Pyrtechon who had chosen him to be the next boss. He then changed his name to Gutchikk Fireblood and took over the ceremonies.
For another decade this continued. The clan grew and Gutchikk was now a confident and feared chief. He covered himself with tattoos and adorned himself with menacing figurines. The forest still spoke to him and the clan viewed this madness as voices from god. Over time he even stumbled onto some cantrips which added to his persona. Every year on his birthday he would start bushfires as a celebration to himself. Sometimes they passed uneventful. Other times warriors would charge in and recycle the clan. Each time Gutchikk managed to survive and each time he grew as a great and wise Clan Leader and Shaman.
Then one day his life took a turn for the worst. During his eleventh birthday as Clan Chief & Shaman after lighting his routine bushfires a huge wind picked up and and fanned the fires into a hazzardous inferno. The blaze which normally could be managed was now chaotic and turned back onto his own village. All the huts and surrounding forest suddenly became alite within the torrent of flame and the smoke and wind made visibility extremely poor. Gutchikk both shocked and frightened fell to his knees in front of the totem praying for his god to save him.
But during his prayer the fire crept closer and closer until the wind kicked the inferno so close that the totem itself also caught on and erupted in flames... Gutchikk then began to weep as everything and everbody around him were either in flames or awaiting their imminent demise. Their was no escape as the fire had the village surrounded and was closing in.
Suddenly a gust caught hold of the burning totem and sent it toppling towards Gutchikk who lay face down weeping uncontrolably. It came down and crashed over his back, knocking him aside and scorching marks across his back, sides and neck. He fell into unconsciousness...
Later when he awoke, it was not to a decimated village nor a wall of flame and smoke but to his dismay he was lying at the foot of a great dragon, and in his ignorance he did not notice the colour of it. Unsure whether he was dead or alive he was never-the-less petrified. Fire was one threat, however this was much more fearful. His last thought was what it would feel like having a huge tooth pass through his stomach and how good he would taste... | | |

| RE: Gutchikk Fireblood It's a good bio but the last part of it is a bit pushing it. We usually don't allow the gods to take active part on character submissions. Please, change the destruction of the totem part.
Also Druids do not have domains.
