Physical description: Taran is of reasonable height among his race, around 5 and a half feet. His frame is muscular and he weighs no less than 155 pounds. His hair is jet black and skin slightly tan. Tattoos adorn his body, mainly his upper arms and a large dragon on his chest. Taran is more muscular than most of his kin but his step is as graceful as any wood elf on Layonara. Traditionally elves would use light weapons, but Taran would utilize large two handed weapons such as the spear and the great sword which complimented his physical strength.

Personality: Unlike most traditional wood elves, Taran would often employ unorthodox habits and had a tendency to stick to himself. At a young age Taran was deemed a 'free spirit’ and adopted the name 'Nomad' by the elders of his clan. Some even accused him of being a Wild elf. Taran has an 'all or nothing' attitude and it shows. When he is interested in something, he gives 110%, but when he lacks interest he tends to brush things aside and pretend they are not even there. Above most, Taran wields a strong love for animals and the Ulambree forest in particular. It is obvious to most that Taran would give his life for the forest and his clan, therefore most had a deep respect for his nature.

Biography: Not much is known of Taran's past, nor does he speak of it often. But he was born and raised in the Ulambree forest. He was very close to his mother but because of his father's fierce love of tradition and Taran's lack there of, they did not gain much of a father son bond. During the beginning of his maturity, he was taken in by an elf name Zak'dan Baen'ana, who at the time was an outsider of the tribe. During this time he was trained in martial combat and taught the ways of the forest. Taran was crowned best huntsman among peers, for his physical abilities and creativity during hunting expeditions.
