Bio:

Vellyn grew up a protégé of Aeridin having been raised in the company of the church in Rodolin. His father, Dwoemyr, had been a Paladin of the Order who had dedicated his life to placing the souls of undead back in their place of rest, and he never knew his mother. He spent most of his life, though, in the company of Regrym, a priest of the conclave. Regrym taught him how to respect the great cycle of life in order to better protect and preserve the life around him. He also learned the skills of combat from the priest knowing that death was a natural part of the cycle, though killing was not something one should not do unless placed in a life or death situation. Vellyn spent part of his day walking Rodolin aiding those who had needs that he could meet. Vellyn also had the desire to place uneasy souls at rest like his father whom he had idolized. (Dogma)

When Vellyn was thirteen, he learned that his father had died aiding some people in need at a cemetery. During the funeral of a family member, some of the dead began to rise from the grave, obvious work of the necromantic arts. Dweomyr happened to be in the town passing through when he saw the people in need and ran to their aid. There were just too many for him to combat, but all knew Aeridin was pleased that day for no other life had been taken. Vellyn used this as fuel for his desire to place an end to the cursed souls unable to pass over in rest. He had Regrym finish his training in the priesthood and when he came of age, he left the church to go into the world and finish what his father had started. Vellyn stands at 6 feet 2 inches in height with a slender yet muscular stature with a weight of 220lbs. He has long jet black hair and striking blue eyes with a hint of violet Vellyn will go to any length to remove undead from the world even if it will cost him his very life.

1. I have read and understand the Dogma of Aeridin and will RP it to the best of my ability.

2. Vellyn has a passion for life and would never take the life of another unless it was in self defense and no other possible ending could come from it. He has a respect for the cycle of life and knows that death is a part of this pattern. He also has a desire to place the souls of the cursed left still walking the land to rest so that they could see peace. He also has a strong desire to aid those in need with healing or provisions based on their needs.

3. Vellyn wears the robes of Aeridin, white robes, whenever walking the city or in the company of those who can keep him protected. He wears full plate armor during times when battle might be expected or sought out in the case of placing the undead to rest. His weapon of choice is a Morningstar as it was his father’s preferred weapon and was respected far above any other person Vellyn had ever met, though he also carried a quarterstaff during travels and walking the city. The Morningstar is the weapon of choice when combating the undead. Vellyn also proudly wears in public eye, the necklace of Aeridin; a simple necklace with a golden leaf attached.

Ok ...read the new thread regarding Character submissions by Storm. I am aware that i'll need a CDQ for the Undead Slayer so for now consider this PC request as a Priest and i'll work my way into the Undead Slayer stuff IC ... sorry for not catching that thread earlier.

On a side note, This PC is actually a run off of Cullyn Alistair my other Character. I've had some problems with my previous NWN account (danmacnwn) as well as with the game. I've had to re-install the game and create a new online account in order to play online (obviously

). Cullyn was approved already by Leanther and had gotten up to 7th level. The only difference with the PC and Cullyn is that i'm human instead of Aasimir ... so I removed all the Aasimir aspects from this bio. I'm not asking to be re-instated anything from my previous PC ... just didn't know if this info helps any
