| The Dragon Storm Campaign Use this forum to discuss the major plot in our current campaign. Posts should be in character. | | Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. | Requesting an Audience.... .. Requesting an Audience with the Council of Westgate, and/or Queen Alise Langovale.
After the events in Tulam, and the safe rescue of its surviviors, questions need to be asked.
A group of adventurer's arrive in Westgate, determined and with purpose, bugging and constantly requesting an audience, slowly but surely climbing up the chain of command until they come upon someone who can formally arrange the meeting.
If questioned first as to the purpose of the meeting, they reply sharply with:
" Well what the hell do you think its about?! Your towns being attacked, your civilians killed, half-dragon-like bloody monsters on the run and poisoned Dragons in your cities!"

We'll discuss it in the group and find out who will run and when it will be ran. Then we'll get back to you.

| Re: Requesting an Audience.... Whichever GM takes this one, note this thread.
However, I'm guessing, LordCove, that you want this as more of an open quest/IC move (which I like, it's a good call as we need to branch this out for more to get involved, even if IC we may have reasons not to do so) instead of just a move by "the Marked."

| Re: Requesting an Audience.... Although I'd like as Milton says, to open this up for anyone other than the "Marked" and those who went to Tulam, that will be up to the GM I'd have thought.
Although of course, those who wish to attend should really have some knowledge of whats been going on in Kuhl and regarding the Poison and the Cult.
A lot of people InGame know different parts ( or possibly all ) of whats been going on.
If your character doesn't and you want them involved... talk to people, ask questions, listen to tales. The information isn't posted on any forums ( well, not mainly) , buts its out-there, InGame to be found from various Characters.
There is of course this, to be classed as a "general rumour" going around : http://forums.layonara.com/dragon-st...gard-kuhl.html ....
... but thats minor detail and only a part of it.

| Re: Requesting an Audience.... See here.
Requesting an event similar to meeting the Queen, but in this case the Lord of Phal and/or the dragon (Bastion, I think is the name).
I'll make a new thread to request a different event if those involved make a decision based on the other ideas in the linked thread.

| Re: Requesting an Audience.... Let's see... along with those interested, Steel would go through the avenues necessary to request a meeting with the Lord of Phal. It may take some inquiry to discover what would interest the Lord enough to agree to a meeting, but I'll PM you some of the topics Steel (or others, as hopefully Steel is not the spokesperson here) would/could use to get the Lord's attention.
