I have to say... I liked the old, round smilies better.

I liked these for the following reasons:

• we were missing some from the rounded set
• they are not animated
• they are a little different from the norm
• they catch your eye and make you want to read what the person wrote to show off that emotion while scanning threads
• they have a little more colour

I will put them back to what they were though if the community misses them. Feel free to create a poll if you feel you want to campaign to have the old ones back.

The textures are good, but they are too big. If they could be made smaller, it wouldn't be so obstrusive.
