Welcome to the Layonara forums!

Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.

Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.

After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.

There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.

We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.

Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. Default Lost and found quest last night.

I like to apoligize to the GM's and players last night for my abrupt leaving.. Wife came down stairs and told me to get off or grab a pillow and a blanket and hit the couch so out of love andFEARfor my lifeI had to go.. So again I am sorry, but the quest was great everyone did a great job!!
I don't know if the GM's are going to wait to give xp at the end or theri series or if they hand it out at the end of every quest. If it is the latter because of my sudden leaving I did not receive any and hopifully I could get that today when I log on if wife hasn't taken the sledge hammer to the computer or the usual stealing of my keyboard.

Tobias..

Yeah same, sorry for leaving as well, I caught myself falling asleep twice in the last 30 minutes I was on it scrolling up and seeing what happened, so decided it wasn't good to continue like that *shrugs*

After all of you guys left we decided to stop.... wasn't fair for an end to be seen with out all of you who helped get it there.

*shrugs* Thats how I'd sure like it to go down if I ever had to leave close to the end of something I put that much into.

We are picking up where you guys logged, as if no time passed.

*chuckles* I live in the farmlands of the Texas panhandle, right smack in the buckle of the Bible Belt..... the odds of finding such a woman here are too slim to even mention.... =P they don't like "devil" games here. ;-) ;-)

I'm glad I'm living in MN-but I won't be exported from here for one of you guys... I'd be the one up at all times of the night, playing (I've been getting up at four am to quest) and make ya'll babysit.

but, then I'd be burned at the stake-fer I ain't no christian, so it wouldn't work out either way!

hahahahaha. your stuck with women that don't like the computer!
