Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.

I've found out Waha is still available on the server, amazingly. I figured he'd have disappeared by now. I'd like to ask opinions...
Should I still play Waha? He's one of my favorite characters ever, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't make more sense just to use a new character?
If I do continue to play him, what sort of RP reason would there be for him being gone so long and returning and him having no knowledge of what's gone on between then and now? And it would have to explain why he hasn't been seen in a long time.
Any suggestions, opinions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |  |   | |

I'm still playing my characters, one of which knows Waha so I say play Waha. You could have been helping out family or clan reasons.

He was Polymorphed into a Random animal like say a chicken or a cow.That would explain why you dont know what happened in the time you have been gone and it also would make a good CDQ.maybe having your revenge on the Mage or Devil,demon,etc who Polymorphed/cursed you.

errr.... it would be easier to offer something if i knew anything about Waha, but you must have left before or right as I started.
perhaps he went off to research something and it took him longer to do than he thought....

Waha was a Dorandite. You're welcome to have been at the Citadel of the Hammer during your leave. Learning and helping out on the day to day things that go on there.
Lar is isolated enough, that you get go years at a time without leaving the mountains and folks know you're there safe and sound.

| Thats what i said for Geddrin, in depth studies due to a crisis of faith, so went to the citadel to strengthen my vows.
