Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. Just out of curiousity, how long do you retain inactive characters on the game server? I know I've gotten a character here approved and played in Layonara before, but I can't seem to remember any of my logins to the web site. I'd like to pick up where I left off rather than start anew, and I'm wondering if that's even possible. |  |   | |

We do not delete characters unless they are requested to be deleted. If you have been here within the past two years then your characters are here. We do not transfer characters across accounts though so you need to log in using your bioware name/account that you used when you were here last. | | | | |

And he's gone. Maybe I was using a different account. I can't remember the password to my first NWN account off the top of my head.
Edit: Well, I remembered the password, but he's not on that one either. Is there some mystery third account that I'm not remembering, or is there another possibility? Just so you know, I've played NWN since about launch, so I don't really know how long it might have been. | | | | |

To be honest, I'm having a difficult time remembering much of anything. I know his general details, but they will likely fit about a thousand other players, many of whom are probably more prominent in your memory having played longer, so I doubt any of that will be much help. I know I've played here. I remember some of the few scenes I was in, but that's about it. I'm going to try to find the name the hard way. Wish me luck. | | | | |

Alright. Thanks for the help, Leanthar, but I think I'm just going to rebuild the char. At this point, even if I found him, I probably wouldn't remember half of his backstory. I don't really care about level or xp so much, though I doubt he had very much at all. Hopefully the next time you see me, I'm on the server. | | | | |

Wheee! I'm a search monkey!! I was a bit bored, and decided to make a quick search for your character, even though you said you'd rebuild him, and I found them, not sure if you'd still use them or anything, but the submission threads are here: http://www.layonaraonline.com/forums...ts=2&mid=38243

So you might be able to get a GM to find out what bioware name they're registered under, or you could just remake them, or make a completely new and funtastic character!
