| General Discussion If you have anything off topic to say or you are unsure where to post, this is the place to do so. | | Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. Registration is fast, simple and absolutely free. So please. join our community today!

| Well, Folks Unfortunately, if you noticed the brief mention in my other posts, my dad had me delete NwN. Now, I had been considering for some time to just sneak an installation back on and play nights, but I realized that isn't quite possible... I know my parents, and as insane as I am, I'm not that crazy.
So, I've got my CDs, CD keys, and well... The works taken. It's alllllll gone. My dad even went as far as having me take it off my external hdd. To somehow find a way to put it back on and play again would force me into losing this whole computer, and I do so like my computer...
With a heavy heart then, I bid you all farewell. This "addict" has to go find some other thing to do, and because of that, I won't be checking back on the forums from this point on or give a wave any longer. It's a bit difficult for me myself to stick around and watch everyone else have the fun, after all I hope you understand.
Contact information is in my profile... Check the About Interia post Shiff wrote for me to know times that I'll be on Thanks, guys, for all the support you've had for me over these months. I've been getting Lupron shots since yesterday and will for 6 months, once a month, so health-wise... I should be getting all better! No worries on anything there.
If possible, I'll try to log on one last time to have Kinai do her IC thing and give her stuff to her father figure, her friends, etc. For the sake of staying IC, I won't give EVERYTHING away...Just whatever she feels would help them while she leaves to some land far far away. No promises...I might have Stephen or someone do it for me since he knows how Kinai works (if you don't mind, that is, Stephen...And if you GMs are cool with that)...Maybe I could write her a will if no one would mind carrying it out for me. Whatever.
For the Seras interaction I had between Drizzlin and I...Sorry, Drizz, I won't be able to do that anymore. I think you know how Seras works well enough to roleplay her thoughts for me... Maybe someday someone will roleplay her. That would be cool! Kinai herself will take her leave in her search for the avatar of Shadon and never be seen again, I suppose. Simple vanishing...Maybe a bear got hungry and ate her. Again, whatever on that.
So that's that. The door is closed, and I won't have NwN till I move out and start my own life in my own home. Save your cheers, tears, whatever you feel like you need to do...I think Layo will be long gone by the time I'll have a chance to return, so, again... Take care, everyone.
It was nice knowing you.
Hearts, Hugs, Waves,

| Re: Well, Folks Hey, Hellblazer, there's always Guild Wars I've got a necromancer on there...I'll give you an add once I get the original and that next one reinstalled.
Of course, I won't be on regularly at all on the computer until weeks from now...So yeah.
-- And Chrissums will probably have to be one heck of a dealer to persuade Daddy to let her play it.

| Re: Well, Folks I'm cool with running Kinai for you, at your request. I'll have to remember my own Bioware password (as I haven't typed it in since I started the account over two years ago ) but no worries.
Mayhaps at some point your father will let you reinstall NWN. If so, we'll gladly (GLADLY) have you back.
And I may just have to look into this Guildwars thing...

| Re: Well, Folks Chris I dont think it is a good idea for you to try to get back on even if it is to settle things. Also it is not a good idea to have someone else run Kinai. You never know what the future will bring so dont give away your stuff and we will just say she has gone on a walk about.

As much as I love it here I would have to say that the world is so much bigger than Layo. Go and enjoy it and make your mark. Take Care

| Re: Well, Folks Good luck and I hope your health improves and stays positive.
On a side note, we clearly can't prevent you from handing out your account info to someone else, but we won't be able to transfer Kinai to another account. I agree with jrizz on having someone else run Kinai, but in the end, the choice is yours.
