Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Since there are a couple other threads like this goin' on I thought it'd be cool to know what everyone's gonna be doing on Monday. Myself I'm gonna be at a scholastic chess tournament with my school team

I'll be planning a Sales Report that I'll need to present to the Executive Managers meeting on wednesday.
Sort out some loose ends with clients

...... 8am to 10pm I'll be either working on schoolwork, at work, working out or in class. I pack a heavy "lunch" to keep me going throughout the day. When I get home, it's shower, sleep, and wake up a 6am to repeat until Friday.

I was offering up my PC for sacrifice on a layo quest, its all downhill from there of course, kiddie patrol, cooking, fixing, perchance a little work

I will drag myself out of bed, half coherently dressing myself in the smelly jean shorts that "dont need cleaning for weeks" and whatever t-shirt crumpled on the floor which has the least amount of cat hair on it. I will open the fridge door contemplatively wondering if I should eat breakfast, and settle on a glass of icewater since eating in the morning usually makes me barf. Then I'll hop into my car to go bumper to bumper through an hour's worth of traffic and get to work, do all my work within an hour and slack off for the remaining 6 to 7 hours posting on the Layo forums and eating buffalo wings and sprite until the sun goes down and it's time to go home again. Then I will drink heavily and either play layo, watch a movie or try to beat KOTR I&II again for another secret character/alternate ending. Then I will pass out around 3am and wake up the next day for a repeat of the whole cycle, passed out face down while the cat sneaks into my room to sleep in all my clean clothes.

I'm packing up to leave for a week-long seminar on captive population management (in other words -- tracking and managing animals in zoos!). I'm actually very psyched, especially since the seminar is AT a small zoo that I like very much and will be able to wander during breaks.

I'm actually doing chores on and off while Pyyran sits around, waiting for people to show up to give him money.
At nine-thirty, I'll be in Stone, hanging with the Berylites and getting my leg fixed. Mmmm, mobility. Anyone wants to show is welcome; everyone who's had any contact with Pyyran should know about this, anyhow.
