Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. Here's the portait files of The Heretic (if you want to see what my GM character looks like).
You'll need to unrar all the files and save them in your portrait directory of your NWN folder. http://www.xs4all.nl/~ketterij/Azer_portrait.rar
Enjoy
Hey!
Ive got the platinum edition and there isn't a portrait directory, and I can't find (on here or in the nwn folder) where the portraits would be. I've searched the forums for about an hour now, my other half is feeling neglected and I've grown a beard.
I give up, can someone tell me where to unzip these files before I have a nervous breakdown lol

Re: Custom Portraits
It didn't work for me either. Says the archive has nothing in it.

Re: Custom Portraits
Hum, I managed to get Jaelle's portrait... I think... extracted anyway, but I haven't tested to see if the portrait shows up IG.
EDIT: For reference, I use PowerArchiver.

Re: Custom Portraits
Alright, anyone who couldn't manage the first version, here is a less compressed rar version. Let me know if you're still having trouble. Apparently the dangers of high compression ratios is that not all programs can decompress them! Uncompress them? *shrugs* Something like that!

Re: Custom Portraits
After too much effort, Eleandilethessa gives up applying talcum and other assorted pigments to hide her skin coloring. She is proud of her skin; she thinks she actually looks quite good in it, much to the chagrin of assorted monsters who keep trying to take her out of it.
These are new portraits for Eleandilethessa, aka duchess, and thanks to mixafix for changing it in-game.
(apologies to any who have these protraits and who may have experienced a problem with Arfur's when you barter with him. Use this link to jump to Arfur's replacement portraits please: http://forums.layonara.com/1428082-post427.html if you already have his portraits.
If you don't have any of Arfur's portraits, the portrait here is the new one, so no need to jump.)

Re: Custom Portraits
I have been told about a probelm with one of Arfur Dumas' portraits (which resulted in lag when bartering) and have tracked the problem down and sorted it. If you already have Arfur Dumas' portrait, use this link to get the updated two files. Arfur_update.rar
If you don't have his portraits, use this link to get the whole lot ArfurDumas.rar
Apologies if this error had caused anyone any problems (other than Arfur's player, of course)

Re: Custom Portraits
A little Something I made fo rBoulder Feadial's character. I never had time to do the others. This is the Male counterpart to the female seaelf already in some of your portrait files. this is by one of the D&D artists.

Re: Custom Portraits
Well it's not really a custom file since I don't think I uploaded it from anywhere else, and some people sees it others don't. So if you don't see the ugly mug of Tyillaan, then you should get this here.
