Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. You need to find the files from the proper headpack you installed that correspond to the head your character is using, zip or rar them together, and post them in the forum, or you might as well ask the mail of the people you wish to send it.

RE: Custom Portraits
some headpacks come with a "headviewer" app that allows you to view the heads. If you dont have a viewer its rather tricky to determine which files correspond to the head you are using. Each head should have two files of the same name with a different extension. You will need to send both files to the people you want to see your head.
I just realized I have no idea if I acctually see your correct head or not, as I dont think I've ever seen you without a helmet on.

See Kali how she is intented to be seen in game... Click here ---->Â http://www.jessewrightcello.com/Layonara.html
Download the two head files and place them inÂthe override file in your nwn folder.
Owen Lo'Kiar's portrait. I dont know where I got it from otherwise I would give credit. If anyone knows where it came from PM me so I can edit this and give credit to the artist.
I want to add these to the custom portraits section please. Thanks.

RE: Custom Portraits
i think that portrait is acctually in the portrait pack. If you find the name of the portrait maybe you can get someone to switch it to the one thats in the pack already so we dont have to have duplicate portraits.
...though the one thats in the pack might be the non-drow one, not certain.
Where exactly do you put the portraits. I downloaded the patch and placed it where I thought it told me to. However, in game, I was speaking to a Drow, and she didn't have a head... I was quite confused.

This is a little confusing because you are saying both "portraits" and "head," which are two different things.
First, if you download the LayoPortraits.rar and unrar it into the Portraits folder in your NWN folder, you should see any portrait chosen from those in the file. Some players use portraits that are not in the LayoPortraits.rar, so you'd just see the default silhouette portrait for those chracters. And I'm sure there are some who use the default image on purpose.
Second, if a character doesn't have a head, that's not a portrait issue. Headlessness is either caused by a graphics glitch where the game doesn't load the texture properly, or the player chose a head not supported on Layonara. There is a LayoHeads.rar available, but you shouldn't need to download it to see any Layonara-supported heads.
If you want the huge image resave the jpg as a tga, but the huge one isnt needed since the only place you see it is at character creation. All others are in the convenient little zip file. Just unzip it to your portraits folder.
