| General Discussion If you have anything off topic to say or you are unsure where to post, this is the place to do so. | | Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. | RE: Mistone bought out! With the recent news of the appearance of Blood and Milara in Mistone and the continued summoning of the peoples by the Dragon Dream to the beginning of Hlint and Mistone, the Queen has ordered the completion of new housing in the surrounding area. Developments are already under way in the Blackford Castle area, in the town of Fort Hope and outside Haven Castle.

| RE: Mistone bought out! I want a blackford house save me one! *grins* Well i would like a home for my cleric near a lucinda temple and using plen's old excuse for living in krandor is wearing thin right now.. Nothing is happing with the shifter and that crypt is pretty much taken care of by wandering heros..
as for Celgy living near say blackford or even Spellgard (lucinda temple there) that would be a good RP sence... Now i just need help moving hehe

| RE: Mistone bought out! I have a group looking for a house in Fort Hope. Can someone tell me about how long it will be before something is available and the approximate cost so we can save up and be ready? Thanks.

| RE: Mistone bought out! The Blackford housing is pretty well priced, about 65k. Plus you have the glory of being always on call from the Queen within a 2 minute walk. Bjorn lives just past the lake in Liellon, and within the span of a week got to go on quests for her about 3 times. She's an excellent hostess, and if you bake her an apple pie and a belt of malt liquor, she may even invite you over for dinner from time to time. | | |

| RE: Mistone bought out! hmmm, since krandor is a bit closer to Mistone and there are no current vacancies, your house may be in bigger demand than what the realtor indicates. Maybe you could try using the trading posts to find a buyer for the place to the tune of 50-60k. You would get a better deal and so would they. | | |

| RE: Mistone bought out! Celgar
I had the privilige to meet you and see your house last night and would definitely be interested to take it of your hands for let's say 60000 gold. Let me know if this will suite you then me and my associates will start gathering the money. We would like a interior tour first however.
Please send me a message regarding this.
Regards
