Half Spears?

This might be a stupid question, but are there any half spears in the game. I would love my character to run round with a spear+shield. They are in pnp, but i havent noticed them in NWN at all. I have seen things like whips and tridents, so i wasnt sure if other obscure weapons were available.

There are no half-spears in the game, which is a bit of a shame, I think my goblin would have looked good with a spear and a shield, but there you go.

I'm not sure about some of the other weapons like tridents (having never used one) but maybe you could customise one of the weapons in the game to look more like one?

Actually there is a the goad. Which is pretty much a half spear right? It's a custom weapon so I don't think it can be focused or specialized. But it has originalty attached to it..

Yus we have half spears, Daring used one for awhile

The Goad is a small sized spear, less dmg and what not but it is fit for a one handed small stature fellow.

Also we have a trident, a medium sized spear. Though I wasent able to use it even two handed it said medium so I suppose a medium sized person could use it in one hand with a tower shield or what not.

i have seen the goad but didnt like it too much. maybe it can be customized? where did you find the halfspear?

Everything can be customized, including the goad. I think you can make it look like a half-spear. Never tried it though

Bwaha, I just logged in with my goblin and bought a goad so i could see what it looked like, he looks pretty cool! I think i'm going to use it as his weapon from now on, even though he has weapon focus in shortsword already
