Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.

...by putting a stop to darkstorme's creepy and disturbing laughter, emotes, words and general personality Its weird, its creepy, its disturbing and it make children stay awake at nights.
Finnish signatures are more than welcome.
Please sign and hopefully he'll stop *L*'ing, talking, typing or emoting all together.

Yessirree-Bob, that Darkstorme's a strange feller. Come rollin inter town last week, says he was here lookin fer ah place tah stay. Well me n th'missus set him up with our elder boy's room fer th'night, fixed him bacon'eggs in da mornin. Well wouldn't ya jus' knowit, then all tha sudden all sorts ah evil hit th'town. Ol Bessie started givin sour milk, da moon turn all halloween orange-like, dogs n cats livin tergether, total madness. Why jus' last weekend ah sees mah pet goldfish Barnie rise from th'grave, buried out yonder in that thar pet cemetary what once was an injun burial mound... poor lil feller couldna do much but flop on da floor, and we dun told him not tah hike up that road! Jus ain right, that un. Ah think tha grue bit 'im.

I put my name down, having been subjected to *L*ing on many an occasion.... verily, it brings upon passing dole, such that words cannot express.
However, I cannot sign my name here for fear of reprisal, as one of my characters is in his hands at the moment.

Internet speak is an annoying bastardization of the English language. Proper English grammar and spelling are easier on the eyes--Definitely for those who know and understand the language, not to mention make learning the language somewhat easier.
