Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. | Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing Alright, so I got my grey layo logo hoodie and my red layo logo shirt in the mail the other day and I figured I'd post a review on the quality of the materials, since thats something thats hard to judge in the pictures.
- The Hoodie (That means hooded sweatshirt in case hoodie is a regional expression.)
It is very fuzzy and fits well, especially the hood. The fabric is as thick as a standard hoodie, like one you would buy at a university with their name on it. It is almost identical to a champion brand college hoodie I own. It's not as thick and warm as one hoodie I own but I paid almost twice as much for the very thick one.
Something to note if you want to get a layo hoodie: if you want a big baggy one, get 1 size larger than you were planning to. I checked one of my hoodies that is fairly oversized and it was a medium so I got a medium. It's not so baggy. It fits well and will be good for the spring/summer/fall, but in the winter I tend to wear several sweaters under a hoodie and I wont be able to fit all that under this one comfortably.
The printing is colorful and much better than transfer style printing and looks like it will hold up much longer than transfers. If you look real close the image/color quality isn't as good as a silkscreen but I think silkscreens are more limited in color choice and number of colors.
Final Review
Materials: Very Good
Cut and Fit: Very Good
Printing: Good
- The Red Logo Short Sleeve T-Shirt
The materials of this shirt are great. I just went shopping the other day at the local mall and the layo shirt's materials were better than a lot of the shirts I saw for sale at the mall.
The cut and fit of the shirt are good too. The body length is longer than usual which is fine by me, I suppose whether this is a pro or con depends on the wearer but I thought I'd mention it. Cut about the neck chest and shoulders fits well in every way and the tag doesn't make my neck itch (Huzzah!) Unlike the hoodie, if you're getting a T-shirt get exactly the size you expect to need. The sizing of this shirt matches most of my other t-shirts.
The printing on this shirt impressed me more than the printing on the hoodie actually. Since I got a dark red one it was more expensive, but upon inspecting it, I noticed that a layer of white was printed under the logo, making it stand out against the red. Very nice. I suppose that's why they cost a couple bucks more than the same shirt in a light color. It looks nice though and I wanted a red one.
Final Review:
Materials: Excellent
Cut and Fit: Very Good
Printing: Very Good
----
I invite others who buy stuff on the store to do similar reviews. It will be especially useful to others to know things like to buy 1 size larger in a hoodie if they want a baggy one. Stuff that will let us get clothes that we're happy with despite not being able to try them on first.
Overall I'm happy with my purchases. If I get a hold of a camera I'll post photos of them : )

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing Well, I didn't buy anything due to size issues...but my husband did, and he looks FABULOUS in his bright blue Lucinda tee. It's nice and thick, the colors are bright and of course Lucy looks great on blue . The cut is really long, which is good for tucking.
I worked in a tee shirt shop in my youth and I can say these are good quality tees. We can update in a few months when it's been through the wash a couple dozen times and see how they hold up.

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing I agree on the quality of the tees. I just got 2, one Corath the other Pyrtechon, and the stitching is very sturdy and the textiles are comfortably breathing, even where the main graphic on the shirt sits. Plus, the graphics seem very well printed into the fabric; you can actually see the textile pattern through the graphic. This means it won't fade or chip very easily the way that solid plastic graphics do on cheaper shirts. | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to lonnarin For This Useful Post: | |

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing Well I delayed on posting a little, due to busy-ness, but I think It was good that I waited as I had more to add that way! We ordered all dogma wear.
Pros-
We received our shirts (bought for the family) before when the shipping declared (super saver method)
We got exactly what we ordered
They all looked exactly like they looked on the website. (for clarity, if you order say a golden yellow shirt and the web shows that the picture itself is tinted by the shirt it is, so bear that in mind.)
Sizing was what was stated (meaning not actually a size too big or too small by manufacture differences)
The fabric weave is not conducive to staining! yes, someone managed to salsa-fy their shirt the first day or so, and though it sat for a few hours, it came out in the wash easily.
Washed several times most of the shirts now and there is not sign of shrinkage or ink fading or cracking etc etc.
Cons-
I really can't think of any. I was supremely impressed.

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing We were kindly brought a couple of T Shirts as a gift so as such had no involvement in the order process but I'm told ordering them as a gift to be shipped somewhere else, even a different country was very easy.
Now the T shirts....
They are good quality fabric and the sizing is spot on. The pictures look stunning IMHO. You do not lose the detail of the colours as you might think due to how complex the designs are.
Shipping....
We were told they shipped on the 27th April by Standard Airmail Letter post....They arrived on the 3rd of May...a mere 7 days which in my book, having had various things delivered from the States is excellent!
All in all...VERY happy with them! | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to DMOE For This Useful Post: | |

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing Just got my brown logo tee in the post ... and I love it!
-The t-shirts are very good quality, they're really comfy to wear!
-The logo itself looks really cool, and it actually looks like part of the t-shirt and not like its been pritt-sticked on like some cheap tees do.
-Like the colour too... chocolate brown... mmm
Anyways, overall I'd say I'm very pleased !
The only thing I would say is that it came a bit late... was ordered in November and came today in January. I think its probably because it took ages getting through customs... anything coming from the US will take awhile so I won't blame them for that..

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing Mine was stuck in customs for weeks too.
The store shipped it pretty fast after ordering (you can see that on the shipment date), but then it just took weeks because of customs! | | |

| Re: Review: Layonara Fantasy Wear Clothing ugh... Even though it is there for a good reason, I absolutely despise going through customs.... it takes hours, especially when you pass through a couple countries on one trip...
:/ you'd think packages would go a lot faster, since they can't move, think, and are relatively easy to check.... i dunno...
