This site is the next generation of Layonara.com's offical web presence. Many things about this site will change over time. Additions will be made, features enhanced and bugs fixed. There are many interesting features to this site and much of it needs better documentation, but we will try to outline some of the more important features here.

All of the content found on the forums regarding the people, places and lore of Layonara have been included in this site as static content pages that the Project Team has and will maintain for all of us. This site's practical focus is on accuracy of world content. And just to stem the questions now... no, the content from the Player Handbook will not be publicly available within this site at this time.

Remember the "Server Status" page from the forums? Well, it cross links the logged-in characters with this site. Try clicking on a character or PC name from the list. You'll see what we mean.

Why would it be good to have those cross links on the server status page, you ask? Well now... that leads us into the next really cool feature...

Every Player Character within the game world of Layonara is browsable within this site. Yes, that is correct. What we're doing here is synchronising the live server vault with this site and indexing every single character. Periodically the site will examine the recently updated character binaries and update the appropriate character sheets. Now, these updates are not "replacing" the content but rather are adding new revisions of the characters. This will allow for many interesting things in the future though it is pretty cool right now to be able to see your character's progressive history as recorded by LORE. Follow the Character Index link found on the Start Here page to see what we're talking about. Also, if you don't feel like searching for your friends using the Query box (at the top right of each page) or the Character Index, you can add them as Friends, creating a personal index for easy searching.

Have you ever wanted to see a chart or something of the like that illustrates all the Deities of Layonara and how they related to eachother? Well now you can! Yeppers! Just visit the Deity Relations page to get the good stuff!

If you've checked out your user preferences page you'll probably have noticed that you can enter in your Public CD Key. This is a really neat feature because what that allows LORE to do is to associate your LORE account with your actual player characters. Why is that cool though? Well, it allows LORE to show you more information about your characters! Yessir! When you view your own character sheet after having entered in your Public CD Key you'll see not one tab but many tabs of information on your character sheet! Now isn't that nifty?
