Human: Racial Deformation

Humans age relatively fast when compared to the other races of Layonara. As such, they experience near-traumatic physical transformations as they pass through the stages of life.

In their early teens at the onset of puberty, small childlike forms quickly change into what will become the frame for their adult bodies. Extremities extend, features roughen, voices change, and their body develops quickly into its more defined adult version. In the blink of an eye, humans grow into the shapes they will be remembered by.

Just as quickly though, old age takes its toll with withering of faces and loss of strength. Hair grows silver and the body becomes an attraction for all sorts of ailments. The last few years of life are marked by humped backs, wise eyes, and walking at a slow pace.
