| LSPM Bug Reports Report all bugs related to the Layonara Single Player Module here | | Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. | V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT Not a bug per say. But before releasing V1.2 to the NWvault, I would prefer if you mention in a AID help journal entry that the AID action of *take* is not used any place in this particular module.
I would really prefer if you also placed the OOC note directly in the Murder at the Mill quest that we discussed indicating that:
OOC Note: The Murder Quest uses the AID functions of *Looks Around* *Examine* and *Inspect* to help your PC gather information on the crime comitted. You can't actually *Take* or otherwise interact with the evidence presented for this particular quest, however.
As AID is new to a lot of people, I think it would go a long way to alleviating some of the headache this quest caused.

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT Sorry to jump in here.
I really do not want a 1.2 released. Lets do a 1.1 and then we are done. I really need the both of you on to other things that need to get accomplished for the NwN PW and other important projects. Updating to 1.1 is just fine so long as it happens somewhat soon (as it has been a few months since 1.0 was released, or something like that).
Thank you. | | |

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT It was a mistake. I actually meant 1.1
For some reason I was thinking the first was 1.1, then 1.2. When actually modules start with 1.0?
Either way, Talan has stated that the module with posted bugs fixed is finished and will be ready to hand off this weekend or next week. So soon is fine. I was just hoping to get this in there. Especially if it would be the last update. :/

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT allow me to explain, I labeled the first release candidate with the benchmark release designation 1.0. The first 'public' release (the one that is on the vault right now) is version 1.1
So, the version that I have almost done right now, is version 1.2. Lala meant to write v1.1 since it's a bug IN 1.1 not IN 1.2 (which isn't released yet.)
To sum up: The version we're about to release is designated version 1.2, but it is the first update since the initial release. I plan for it to be the last as well.

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT Thanks folks and I see that you put in there that 1.2 is ready. I will get it out as soon as I can.
Thanks to the both of you for supporting the module with this update. Good job.
Work is now halted on the LSPM. Let's turn our full focus back to the PW and the systems/coding/writing/quests that we need for it. | | |

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT Thanks L,
I noticed on the nwvualt that V1.2 was posted and V1.1 remained.
I thought I've seen before where people were able to replace the first files with the second while keeping the total DL's as well. Is this possible? I'm really unsure how the NWvault works, but I almost think it could be confusing to have both versions remain. That said, I'd also hate to lose the DL total to date

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT Yeah I just finished the updating there. And yeah I can go delete the 1.1 files but I am pretty sure our download stats then go away. That is why I am hesitant of removing the 1.1 files.
If you guys want me to I will remove the 1.1 but to me, from what I was viewing, it looks like the download stats go away as they are associated to file names I think.
I would much prefer to remove the old files but to me it looks like I shouldn't. I think it is okay like it is now though because at the top I stated the date of the update and down below the files are marked with the same date. The new file is also marked with a higher version number....not sure if that will help too much though.

| Re: V1.2 AID documentation request - IMPORTANT This is no longer an issue. I e-mailed the Vault forum moderator Maximus to ask if it was possible to update files without losing the count. He said when you go to submit the new file you need to click update on the same file.
But, for this time he also fixed our files, deleting the V1_1 and adding its existing count to the new count for V1_2.
1465 Downloads to date
