Stunning Fist

If I recall, Stunning fist is supposed to stun for one round.  I am quite positive that the stun duration of the stunning fist that the desert giants on Dregar hit with lasts longer than one round.  Is this on purpose?  or am I completely wrong about the duration of stunning fist attacks?  or is this an issue that can't be helped?  Thanks for your time!

RE: the book

Stunning fist.
character makes an attack roll with a -4 penalty and -4 damage penalty, if the his succeeds then the target makes a fort save DC 10 + 1/2 the attackers level + the attackers WIS modifier, or be held for THREE rounds.

Constructs and undead are immune to stunning fist, so schmooze up to Celgar, or maybe one of the less wholesome PC's and have an undead hey-dey on the monk giants.

gah, yup... another time that I've confused PnP DnD and NWN.... in PnP, the duration is one round, and after digging up the instruction manual for NWN to verify Vyris' claim, I see that the duration is indeed three rounds in NWN.

P.S.  thanks for the advice, Vyris, although I did already know that constructs and undead are immune to stunning attacks, for essentially the same reason they are immune to critical hits.  I DM and play PnP DnD on a consistent basis and have for years, which has it's advantages here as well as it's disadvantages as demonstrated here.
