Thirst
« on: January 02, 2006, 11:56:00 am »
It seems like I have to eat and drink a lot more than I use to.  It's almost like I have a tapeworm and have a curse to always be thirsty.  Seriously, I have played about 3 total hours and I have gone through 3 full canteens and 3 cook's specials.  Anyone else having similar effects?

Yeah, but I mostly blame Christmas and Newyear for it. It's always around this time that I put on a few pounds.

But don't worry, it'll go away again.

As far as I know hunger was not changed on items.  (I could be wrong on that though.) But as its always been buying better food (crafted food ect.) will satisfy your hunger better.

This is the same with drinks.  As Orth said by juice,

the juices and the ales sold from the venders quench thirst signifficantly more than plain water.  Juices also have two charges and I believe are stackable.  You can carry 10 in a stack, that is 20 charges of thirst quenching goodness in the same inventory space as one canteen.  Which sounds better?  The ales also quench thirst more than water.. and there is even one ale with such a low alchohol level (DC) even Wizards can drink it without suffering effects (*hint*)

There were no changes to the hunger system.  The thirst was updated as Lalaith mentioned.

I just drink until I'm drowning in the stuff and eat until I'm bloated.  That usually lasts me a while, heh.

This is a conspiracy and a violation of the business code of ethics! The Leilon Arms has bribed the government of Layonara to make people thirstier to increase sales at their facility.
