| Rumour Has It This forum will be used by players and GM's to post gossip (in character) about what is happening in the world as it happens. IE, outcomes of quests, attacks on towns etc. | | Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. | Re: Posted in various scribing shops around the world Master Brac'ar .
Even-though i am not a colleague of the magic-using kind , i am one of the adventurers kind.
I meet and met many people and creatures that use magic , both to help me and to try to destroy me .
That is why i am interested in finding out how things work and how one could protect him/herself against it .
If you are to reveal anything like that in the presenting of your research , then i would like to hear it if that's allowed .
Barion Firesteed , former Knight of The Wyrm , fighter for good in the war against Blood and still dedicated follower of Rofirein .

As a fellow spellweaver I would be very happy to attend your lecture.
You know me as we have travelled a fair amount together, and I hope my approach to weavecraft does not discourage you from accepting this request to attend.

As a protector of the Weave and member of the chapter of protection, I would very much like to attend this lecture on your latest research. I have studied the arts of abjuration all of my life, but I have also worked on other parts of the Weave just not as my main focus.

As an aspiring magical innovator myself, and a fair hand at some of the arts of magical crafting, I feel I would find your seminar most enlightening. I have been studying magic for many years now, and am always game to learn new things about magic.

| Re: Posted in various scribing shops around the world //I/Brac never mentioned I would be presenting a spell, let alone an eight circle one. He is merely presenting research, and as mentioned in the other thread about Brac'ars spell, it's not out there yet. | | |
