Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.

Hammer o' Dorand Grentham,
I'm sendin this hasty missive caus I bring word ta ya of tha occurances inna the Berhagen mountins anna even in our own mines unda tha earth. As ya know the last few years tha Mountins ave been hit with many minor rumbles causin little damage but more annoyances fer us dwarves. But lately things ar goin awry. Bloomin rocks are movin all o'er tha place. Even comin alive in tha mines anna chasin out tha miners. Giants are bloomin restless to, we bin seein em close ta Shoufal of late and e'en clashes wif em a number of times. Looks like theys got a new leader like...some giant called the Son o' the Earth.
What concerns me too is that I tried ta call on Dorands power o' tha Earth ta smite some giants in a recent battle ana while I felt 'is presence in me tha magic didna come. Tha Earth answered alright but the bloomin things attacked us instead. Aint right...Got me rightly worried.
Oddest thing but, was after we retreated the giants turned on each uthu fer a while. odd.
Anyways we're getting the boy's all geared up..reckon we got a battle comin wif them giants anna this so called Son o' the Earth.

As much as it pains me ta ask, we be needin help here at Shoufal. Bloomin giants ave gone mad, we cant mine cause tha rocks'r walkin and smashin eveyting in sight! Bloomin mountains are shakin their foundations anna rocks are a fallin everywhere!
Durgs headin ta Fort Velenks ta drum up some help from there. A fights one thing but we got outselves a bloomin war ere!

Glad ter be of help lads. Mebbe ye amember in da future Bjornigar an his team ah heroes why saved ye kiester fer free next time ye drawin up trade routes fer caravan. We needs ter rebuild da damage done by em giants an em elementers, best way fer dat be gittin a steady supply ah goods in an ootta em hills and pumpin up da economy.
