Hey, wanted to give a shout out to Ravemore for attempting an impromtu with Zig!  By attempting I mean I had to bail at the very start for an important phone call and missed out on the uber oger bezerkers that were amassing in the roughlands.  Mucho apologies to Rave for having to bail!  I look forward to more of your greatness Rave thanks again for trying to spice things up and for also disabling the monsters when I went afk.

The horde has returned!  Zig and Griff had an encounter with a large contingent of Ogres deep in the Great Forest last night.  Best part is this time I was able to participate without interuptions!  Thanks to whoever gave us the added fun (guessing it was Ravemore?)

Cheers!

Thanks to all those at Dr Golgi's animal hospital (there really is something called golgi apparatus, sneaky)

Great chance to get involved in an in depth RP session, which is much needed to keep the world alive.

Sorry to miss the ending, was very late for me...so ending anyone?

Hey a big fat Kudos to Lon for keeping that Layo flame burning bright with his "The Revenant" Quest last night. It was yummy delicious with a bucket of chicken on top! (which Mangus enjoyed perhaps a little too much.) And just to be sure you all get the "warm'nfuzzies" I'm calling you all out! Thank you to Aesthir, Grog, Fleur, and Rasa for putting up with Mangus talking with his mouth full. It was great fun gang. I hope to see you all back on Wednesday!

Yay! yay!

Had a blast upon breaking my long fast on Brew's Revanent quest last night. Kudos to Magnus, Cord, Rasa, Fleur, Corky and Ryubi, Grog, and anyone else I'm forgetting who was there. And to Brew, for keeping it real.

Great to see you back playing Rollinscat, sorry I could not make that one.

But oddly I was thinking of the Silver Buckle and getting Arfur to do something there, and as if by layonarian magic there you were the very next day!

So kudos to returning players, to anyone out there who shared an adventure and needs a nudge to give it another go sometime. I salute you, I implore you, give it a go.

Book in and advertise an adventure, a meeting at an Inn, a run for ore! a big run somewhere....a bit of make believe drama - I for one will try and be there!

Well, well, well!!!  Wasn't yesterday an interesting ordeal?! I DO believe, (DM's included) I counted some 17 or 18 odd players. I submit that this is indicative of an RP gamming site (wich, mind you,  is still  running on that good old NWN engine from the days of yore) that is alive, well and kicking! I don't mind saying, it was truely a super boost for me to see that many folk again! Brought back many wonderful memories! BIG BIG BIG, kudos to the GM team for laying the " yes we are alive and well thank you very much" hammer down. And as big kudos to all the PC's! The RP was just delicious! Thank you everyone! I had a blast!

My thanks and kudos to Andrew, Foresta, Sala, Jako, and Celador to  a succesful emerald run the other day.  A special thanks to Ravemore for taking the time and interest to give us all a little extra for our efforts.

Thanks to Neema, Iri, and Ryubi for the mortuary practice (Neema) and the research into necromatic magics (Neema, Iri, Ryubi). It was for SCIENCE!

A general shout out to all the players in Layo.  Over the last few weeks and months I've seen a resurgance in rp and comradarie that I haven't seen in a long time from everyone I've had the honor to interact with.  We may not solve all the world's problems, but we'll have fun, a few tears, love and stories to share!  Carry on!

Not a thread I am known to use - mainly because it means I forgot to thank people myself but: Tobias and Zarianna, take a bow folks because we had some great (and sad) RP. Mini demon Nym is proud of you Toby.. and of Zarianna's ability to really twist the knife of guilt-trips.

Throwing out a thank you to Kurn, Lana, Celador, Quenton, and Oly for participating in Daniel's recent CDQ.  Much appreciated.  Oh, and I hope Celador gets lucky. :P

I wanted to thank those players that came out to the quest last night.  It was an experiment that I think went favorably.  There are still avenues for follow-up if you choose, but the quest was tied to a CDQ, which is why there were two "parties."  It's interesting to see how two groups act against each other.  Thank you for putting up with me while I try to brush the rust off of my GMing.  It was fun killing you all, erm, I mean.... playing with you all.  There will be more quests to come.

Thanks to GMs for putting on an inspiring number of games,  this month in particular. Originality, diversity, and some good old themes from the past -  with some common threads binding the RP from one adventure to the next. It's what we need more than anything. So thanks.

It's a small player base but it can still get bigger, and what we have is gms and people ready to play! So hats off to all those playing their socks off.

Some of these games are not good for my time zone, Tanman in particular there, but where possible I am only too happy to try and be there. So if you are a GM with a small crowd please keep trying!

Really enjoyed the player run event last night.  Thanks and Kudos to all who participated.  Brualot, Tralek, Farros, Lana, Mil (Sea elf - no way am I remembering the spelling of his full name.), Lola, and Ryubi for organizing and Ravemore for giving this misfit conclave a shot!  One Wild magic anomaly down, more to go!

Shout-out to tonight's Brew quest. Well-run, interesting premise, everyone got a chance to do stuff, and superior RP. Hats off to Charlie, Fern, Ryubi, Corky, and Jay...and especially Jay. Mari hasn't had a real nemisis in a while. Jay was just delicious.

*ahem* I'd like to single out two DM's and players that have made this week memorable- Ravemore and Lonnarin.  Both of you have put in the extra effort to make quests engaging, relevant, and fun to play in both roles as player and DM.   Thank you from all of us grateful munchins.

It's what I stick around for.  The GM run quests remind me of pin and paper but online!  I love the interplay between the GM's and the player and the out of the box thinking that can take you were ever the GM allows you.  Thank you Layo and the folks who put there time into all these quests for our enjoyment!  An added plus is that the actual mechanical world and lore is incredible too.

Yes outstanding stuff this week. The baby Herman mystery was solved thanks to some sleuth work around Mariner's Hold. Thanks for the great RP from all involved (I struggled to keep up) and especially Brewmaster for the entertaining plot and characters. September has been great! Wish I had stuck around for the Dead magic investigation but was in and out that day.

Creedo conquerors cede credence to collective collaboration.....or it was really good to see a group of role players out explorering parts of the world long forgotten and oft neglected. Good to see such a fine turnout, and glad to have made it for a while and apologies for my early departure but it was very late for me! Good job by all but naturally it was carried by the Gnomes :)

Till next time.

Created my char last night (Loxxi). Thus far, every person I've come into contact with are friendly, fun rpers, and are very kind in helping me learn the ropes.

Kudos to:

Shiffdrghrt (don't know which char that was, the dark robed one with the pipes ;)

Akio

Daniel

So far, I'm loving this place - thanks!!!

Shortstack deserves some recognition.  Clearly a veteran of RPing, had fun playing the mysterious figure role in Center, illuminating his fate as a Stonebound adventuer.  Can't wait to get back in game with him(?).

Kudos, and welcome, Shortstack

A thank you to all who participated in Bolga's trial last night.  Fern, Eril'lin, Tyrra, Ryubi.  Good solid rp all around.  Special Kudos to Brew. - You rock even though I loathe playing a lawyer.

That was fun!  Especially when I get to sit and watch you all argue with a lawyer who ends up killing his own client.

Brew, having Lorimer taunt Tyrra with his Thieve's Cant rendition was awesome.  Great fun.  Glad I could make it.

A thank you to Acacea, Ryubi, Corky, and Bobre for the run tonight in the deep. Acacea - keep asking the hard questions, some of us might even answer sometime. :P   Still not sure if we'll survive the attempt for mithril with this group, but it'll be fun to try. :)

Thanks all for the fun rp in the Quest for the Cosmic Cloud last night.  Who knew vegepygmies were good for something afterall, hey?  Even though we sincerely trying got the mix wrong for the fire giant, in retrospect its exactly how Jenna wanted things to go (kill the giant, give the ultimate vapor to the smoker).  So all's well that ends well, hmn?

Also, someone gave Jenna a Falcon hookah - didn't notice at the time since I wasn't looking for it.  Not sure if it was given deliberately by the player or accidentally by DM?

Good fun. Thanks everyone. That Falcon hookah should have gone to Tane, but he got one anyway, so you can discard.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Dragon Isles last night!  We may not have gotten very far and we may have had everyone die except 3 of us, but the roleplay was top notch and constant and it was a really fun challenge.  Felt like an adventure again!  Looking forward to traveling with you all again.

I think it has been close to 3 years since I played a game like NWN/NWN2 online with a group of role players. While trying to figure things out and not meeting many players yet, miltonyorkcastle aka the troll king payed me a short visit for some good old fashioned fireplace discussion RP just before or after doing someone CDQ. I unfortunately couldn't stay long, but moments like these is why I love doing this, so I wanted to thank him for helping remind me why I wanted to return. Still trying to work out the kinks with what I want in her accent (I don't want her to be hard to understand), but that will come with time.

Want to give Kudos to the little mouse working behind the lines, of the world.

She has shown initiative in changing things a bit with her stellar and small details that made the world feel alive, yesterday's quest was not dissapointing and quite fun,   Personally i'd like to commend the detail level on her npc's and descriptions And the rp was top notch, as she as player get has shown us in the years she has been around.

Keep up the good work, mouse.

And again Kudos to Mouse, ystrday, and LFFF , thank you for a  very good time and challenging roleplay today, somehow i am glad it was going to be a "short" event, but i am blaming mouse for jinxing herself on it. .

Still we have to solve the issue, And *goes off to the forums*

Thank you 3 for the wonderful time.
