Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.

| Re: These people need to report *A letter dispatched to the Magistrate of Port Hampshire*
Most honorable sir,
I write on behalf of Berak...currently under house arrest in the Illvacla eo El'Wilmlayla guild house here in Port Hampshire.
I...as a founding member of the guild...would vouch for his appearance at any and all matters pertaining to the investigation at Baron Lark's hunting lodge in the Brech Mountains.
If this is not adequate to lift the house arrest...I would then request the house arrest be expanded to the smithy and crafting halls in Port Hampshire. Berak is a well respected member of our guild...and is not one to shirk responsibilities.
With all due respect,
Kyle Pandorn - Illvacla eo El'Wilmlayla Guild | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to SteveJW For This Useful Post: | |

Good Mr Pandorn,
If you are willing to put your guild reputation on the line then I am sure we can lift Mr Berak's house arrest. But be warned if it is found that he has something to do with the disappearances at the lodge of Baron Larks or fails to report to the authorities when needed then you risk having your business shut down.

Most honorable sir,
The Illvacla eo El'Wilmlayla guild stands behind Berak. We are confident he has no culpability in the disappearances...and I will escort him personally for any questioning you require.
As such...I formally request the house arrest be lifted.
Respectfully yours,

| Re: These people need to report The birds who have been harassing Capt Trent on his daily rounds, and the mice who loved his boots seem to have mysteriously stopped bothering him.
Except forth occasional seagull who still does it because he thinks its funny.
