The answer may be at hand Arndt publications is about to distribute 'The visitors guide to Layonara', aimed at new visitors and adventurers. This comprehensive and compact guide is an invaluable part of the new adventurers inventory. Local area maps, street plans and places of interest, are just some of its contents. What Im offering here is a chance to catch new adventurers, advertise your wares. Be they weapons, clothes or services. As long as it is legitimate. If you wish to advertise in a premium location in this book. Simply bid for a page.. Highest bidder wins. Bidding ends in 48 hours. 90% of proceeds goes to the Queen. Rasterick has created the first of many (I hope) "guide" that players can download from the website.� This guide will be what many players will be reading and using when first arriving on the world and/or other continents/servers.� So advertising your goods here will get your name out to the new players (and therefore their characters) quickly.� If you are a group (or even a single individual) that sells items I think this may be a good way to advertise and get the word out to the player base.

I think there was no response because people weren't quite sure what to expect. Seeing the guide and seeing the spot, I'm plotting my advertising scheme right now.

Gosh Golly and G'Wilikers...cough cough sorry got really weird there. This is very nice and helpful. I agree with all of you that I wish that it had been out when I was new. I didn't even know where to find a rat let alone where the merchants were when I came into Hlint. This is great I would love to see more.

Rasterick is on vacation right now.� When he gets back he will open the bidding for another 24 hours.� Orc Bashers already have the first bid when it opens *points above*.� At the closing of the bidding proces that guild or player will get the space.� We will then update the guide so that future downloads will have the advertisement.

Why just one ad per pamphlet? There's plenty of room to put ads in for anyone that wish to advertise in there.

Path, in answer to your suggestion, more of these are in the pipeline, and of course; more advert space will be available, plus a couple of ideas I have to spice up the guides themselves.
