*Vivian Elishan, with a tear-streaked face, walks up to the temple of Ilsare in Hlint. She steps up on the little dais, and looks around to those gathered. She is clearly embarrassed to be standing infront of people like this, and blushes a little. Her lips tremble as she begins to speak*

"My .. ummm ... my husband ... Daniel ... he died a few years ago .... k-killed here ... in umm ... in Hlint ... during a drow raid."

*she gulps down a sob as she continues to speak. She is trying not to cry infront of all of these people, but it is difficult*

"After that ... Daddy wanted us to move out of Hlint. We sold everything we had ... everything, including our wedding rings ...... but when the day came to move ... well ... I stayed."

*it is harder for her to hide her troubles now, and it is evident in her face that she is trying as hard as she can to not break down infront of the people here*

"His soul was bound by those rings ... and he was trapped in the halls of the dead, unable to pass on. Those rings are now in the hands of an evil witch, intent to use his soul to extend her life."

*she is unable to keep tears from running down her face now*

"Pray with me? So that Ilsare will protect is soul?"

I shall pray with you. I shall pray that the Light of Aeridin will shine upon your husbands soul. I shall pray that Aeridin's Holy Light shall blind this foul witch and bespoil her plans.
*He bends and quietly prays for several moments, then stands purposefully*

*Jil walks up and takes Vivians hands in hers,* I will pray with you. And if there is anything I can do to help, all you have to do is ask. *She smiles and gives her hands a slight squeeze, nods her head and steps away so that others may take her place*

Keeping his distance, Ael frowned to himself, as he attentively listened to Vivian’s pleas. Time was short, as it always was; and his interests in jeopardy, as they always were. Part of him cursed himself for even listening. With a sigh, he shrugged it all off and ignored the inner tumult. Whatever the cost, he would not turn his back on one, such as this, who so clearly was in dire need. He breathed deeply as he lowered his gaze, focusing his mindfulness fully into the present moment, and then upon Vivian as he opened himself completely to the pain emanating from the fiber of her being. He gathered himself and slowly approached her with a gentle smile, his demeanor one of sadness and understanding. Holding her gaze with a steady and serene sense of assurance, he conveyed to her in that moment that she was not alone and that he would stand with her throughout her trials, even if only in prayer.

“Leave word for me at my room in Alantha’s house if I can do anything more for you, Vivian.” He spoke the words very quietly, yet clearly.

Then he turned and was gone in less than an instant.

"You and Daniel are in my prayers always, Vivian. And when the time comes to act, you need only call me and I will be there to help. Ilsare keep you and bless you both."
