Duelist Feats

After submitting a new duelist character, I was wondering if all of the feats that say "Will not work if wearing armor" would work if wearing leather or a chain shirt or something, or do you have to wear just plain cloth to have the feats?

Everything considered plain clothes will work, that means no leather armor, no metal armor... But stuff like reinforced clothes, mage armor and such works.

For the feats/bonuses for using one handed piercing weapon, you can not hold anything in your off hand.  No lanterns, flags, flowers etc.

Even if it would be cool to use a cloak in your off hand, or make sense to use a main gauche, or practical to hold a wand etc.
