Getting into Hemp

If Frak gets well enough known or does some mighty good deed (which he will have to balance out with something bad as he is TN) would he ever be able to get into places like hemp without being jailed and whatnot?

There are individuals (for example, Alantha T'sarran) who, despite their racial origins, have proven themselves to be paragons of good and virtue and have therefore been given special dispensation to enter places like Hempstead.

In her case, however, it took an ECDQ, and she was a Dragoncalled.

So yes, it's possible, but it isn't anything that could happen in a hurry.  As always, it's just one of those things that monstrous races have to deal with.

Just to add to the point that darkstorme raised.

you have to take in acount that even despite to have papers to let you go thru Hempstead, that does not change how the whole population sees your monstrous race character, people in the old times tend to be very unforgiving and the things Hempstead had suffered won't be easily forgotten by a simple one that made good enough to let himself into the city, he'll be able to enter and yet don't expect to be treated ( rpwise ) as if your char is not a monstrous race.

As DS pointed that is indeed one of the challenges to play a Monstrous race.

Yet. the papers are the start to get your reputation on. So yes its posible.

Here is an example or a try for such attempt made some time ago, This is not the only way to do it.  its just one way.

For clarity (and as the guy who ran Alantha's WLDQ), Alantha's admittance into  Port Hempstead had really nothing to do with her WLDQ or the outcome of the quest. She was allowed because of her status as a Dragoncalled, her well-known deeds during the war against Bloodstone and a few other things. Another dark elf (Iradril) has gained access to Port Hempstead for similar reasons.

Who needs Hempstead when you can stay in Leringard, anyway? Ships sail straight from Leringard to Fort Vehl and back. Skips that silly biased Hempstead every time. ;)

I think the point is to stop worrying about getting into Hempstead.  If you want to get into Hempstead, then make a character that is not a monstrous race.  (sorry for being blunt)

Leringard's not quite so friendly toward dark elves anymore...not that they ever really embraced them, of course...but it's gone a bit sour since a certain trial. ;)
