You can sell or trash the cards, but the card bag cannot be dropped.

The only way to get rid of it, is to request a GM to remove it.

at this time, i do not want them. i have a limited ST, which i need for sand and stuff. if there is a way to take this off my character that would be wonderful.

ps. resently, when i log on, all my maps are reset. they start out as if its my first time in an area. anyway to fix that?

Have you tried putting them in a trashcan? As I understand it, there are two kinds of trashcans: One kind things placed in the trashcans be retrieved before it is closed, and the other items placed inside are destroyed immediately. The second kind should be able to remove the bag (At least, I have used them to get rid of quest reward items, I imagine the card bag works the same way).

As an aside, the cards weigh nothing, and as such, shouldn't count against your carrying capacity.
