Well, Wizards and Sorcerers "learn" magic somewhat differently, but I believe there'd be plenty of overlap between the sort of instruction they get, at least in terms of magic theory. In practical instruction, it would likely be somewhat different, though it could be argued that a good instructor would be able to cover both styles of "learning".
As for the sects, I don't believe there is any meaningful sort of segregation between Wizards and Sorcerers. The sects tend to be less about training and more about practical use and refinement of what is already known, and using one's gifts of magic toward a particular end.
So um...I think the answer is most likely "no, not really", and you'll notice in the current write-ups that there is also very little distinction made between arcane users within the Lucindite church and divine users (i.e. clerics).
