Shifter's Curse

Ok, maybe over imagining this one a bit but... been having an idea for a Wild Elf Druid/Shifter and if possible (late shifter levels) That his Shifter abilities may start altering his original form. Changing him (physically/apparent wise) from a Wild Elf (or whatever original race) into a Chimera. A creature whose body is made of different body parts of random creatures.

Wolf's head, Bull/Horse legs, Bears Body, Bird Talon arms and hands and a lizard tail

Random assortment. Chimeras aren't just one singular animal set, or so I've noticed in various fantasy games and stories featuring them.

Anyways, if possible would say such a thing would require a CDQ or a set of CDQs or a WLDG

If you're talking about a Shifter's abilities doing this without his consent, it isn't something that will happen.

If it's something deliberate, it's hard to imagine any Shifter doing it, particularly because chimerae are usually poorly suited to any particular task.  This is why, both in D&D and elsewhere, they're listed as "magical beasts" - without magic, they'd be hard-pressed to survive.  Not something terribly natural.

If you're talking about this appearance being set mechanically in-game, some of it might be marginally possible but due to the effort required I'm afraid it's highly unlikely that it can be supported.

Further explanation can be provided for each of these issues, should you request; sorry if this comes as a disappointment, but we've had something like this come up in the past and it was not approved for the same reasons.

Awwww, ok. Well as the subject suggests, I was thinking along the lines of a curse. (being unintentional on the characters part) Oh well.

Have a similar question now. wanting my katian cleric to be a Sacred fist later. IC, inspired by how animals fight forsaking held weapons in exchange for his own natural weapons. IE Hand, legs, feet, arms and body. Effectively becoming Katias Feral warrior. Question is... changing hands and feet to those of animals (encompassing creature weapons feat) and possibly a permanent bonus to Listen, Search and Spot? (Enhanced Feral senses)

All I would imagine granted to him willingly and as a divine gift from Katia.

Heh, then again I'm probably asking a little to much.

Curse my over imaginative mind.

Any sort of mechanical boost like that would the result of a WLDQ at minimum and not something granted just because someone has a clever or creative story about becoming a given PrC.

Ok, try taking a WLDG after becoming a Sacred fist to try and get his full Feral powers... as it were. Probably some time after level 20. Hm, now if only the Wemic/Bear Warrior feat Scent work with out having either. Oh well... do without. Maybe try RPing it in... some how... after all... the three skills (Search,Spot and listen) well be rped in. He'd either hear them, see them or... smell them.

Anyways, thanks. Thats all. That was fast too.
