Question about Grove of Illusion
« on: April 23, 2011, 01:21:06 am »
What can SehKy and Keela find out about the Grove of Illusion after asking around, asking the Nymph, and doing a bit of research on it at the Tower Academy?

There is what appears to be (//mechanically) shrine with a grave stone and and a suspicious red arcane star.

Asking around you find no one really knows anything about it, other than a bunch of guesses and stories, most of which conflict with each other, leaving you with nothing for the most part.  To dig deeper or to speak with the Nymph (which has its own problems) is probably CDQ territory.

As Dorg said, questioning a nymph is frought with its own set of problems but asking around at the outlying elven outposts or ranger happened up on in the vacinity would conjure tales of phantom battles or beasts that appear and then fade.
Some might tell of a older woman in a long grey dress weaving her way among the trees but fading from sight just as she seems to draw near.

You will be cautioned that there have been many who enter the forest about the grove that never return.  Most think it is the nymphs that hold those lost entranced or the dangerous beasts in the forest but others are not so sure.

You may even if you ask in the right places find someone from a  group of adventurers that once ventured deep into the grove and .... returned.
