I've been looking at houses and looking up dates last online and noticed some havn't been here in over a year. Just wondering, does the house ever 'expire' leaving it vacant? (one of the houses was owned by a recently dead wizard harajuma or so). Just seems that all houses have already been purchased =/

Periodically, houses are "cleaned out" if the tenants haven't signed in for a given period.

As this is a rather labour-intensive task, it is done infrequently.  Rest assured, an announcement will be made when the next house-clearing is to take place.  Also, houses are sometimes occupied by groups of individuals, so even if the ostensible "owner" no longer plays, a house may be under heavy usage.
