So, we've got the Temple Donations page, sure. That tracks the donations put through the NPC clergy. However...

Let's take this hypothetic situation. PC Bob wants to donate to his church. However, he ends up giving all the stuff he wanted to donate, to the needy (in the name of the church).

Would this still go towards the Temple Donations page, and, if so, should Player of PC Bob mechanically donate the stuff to the temple, get the receipt, and just RP that he handed it out? Or... What?

I say "Give it to me!"...  but no one listens.

I'd mechanically Donate it...

Yeah, mechanically donate it.  There's no other way really without calling a GM each time or just mechanically tossing it in the trash.

*Chuckles.* Well, I took advice that was very reasonable from another DM (Darkstorme) whose point was to the temple funds... But, in the end, I donated the stuff that was "actually" going to be donated. The stuff given to the invisible NPC Populace was screenshot.

Post and speech forthcoming.
