Is this some kind of external tool or is it something that happens within a module?
The CBC is an Excel spreadsheet that let's you plan out a character's progress, try different class combos, etc. It's got a ton of formulas and other checks built in to let you know if your choices are valid. It also produces nifty output. Here's an example:
