    Single Player vs Multi-player Portraits
    « on: December 22, 2005, 05:20:00 am »
I'm not sure this is the right place to ask, but here goes...

I normally work out how I'm going to build a charcter prior to loggin into any server, to speed up the process. I've noticed however that some of the portraits available "locally" don't seem to be there when I go to a server.

Can anyone explain why this is so, and how I might go about fixing it?

Is it a server side issue... that is, somethign I have no control ovr.. or has something gone awry with my installation?

That doesn't make sence since portraits don't come from the server, they are loaded off the portraits in your portraits folder on your harddrive.  Why you are getting less when you join the server beats me.

I have noticed the same, Layo does not support the CEP portraits I have, even though they are all in the same folder.

Isnt the CEP portrait pack a hak that somehow meshes into the SP game rather than just portrait files in your portrait folder?

Edit: wait, no.. that doesnt really make any sense since no haks are loaded at char creation.  *shrugs*
