Description: Crafted a batch of Bronze throwing axes. Nine (9) axes were created and added to my inventory (as shown in log.) Log says that I 'successfully made 50 items.' It should be noted that I was spammed with the 'Exceptional ' message when the attempt succeeeded. (also shown in attached log.)

I reported this too. I guess the server reset didn't put Dorg's changes into play.
PS: wondering, Dorg said an exceptional would result in "something". Did you check those 9 axes carefully? Maybe a Christmas present there?
I'm a tad confused by the question.
Did you not receive the 50 axes (in 9 stacks)?
I received 9 axes (in one stack) not 50.
I have since made a second btch of Bronze Throwing Axes. This batch was (I assume) not 'Exceptional' , as I did not get the Exceptional messaging.
In this case I received 50 axes.
Another issue with this item however...
The description on the Bronze axes says 'Extra Ranged Damage: Piercing'
However there does not appear to be any extra damage (as I would expect from a Bronze claas weapon)
The stats that show up on my Character Sheet are identical to equipping copper throwing axes.
(When I equip a bronze Melee weapon the extra damage is shown on the Character Info sheet ie.as +2 Piercing Damage)
Alright, so you're saying you received only 9 axes, not 9 stacks...not some combination totaling to 50 throwing axes.
I'm just trying to understand the precise nature of the bug report.
You are correct that there is no actual "Exceptional" throwing axe, as described in the post that davidhoff referenced above, but the exceptional result yields the same as item as a non-exceptional result.
Yes that is correct....only nine axes received when the result was 'exceptional'
Don't know if it is mere coincidence but the recipe calls for 9 ingots.
There was a disprepancy in the recipes for copper and bronze axes that would probably account for this.
I tweaked the recipe database for those two, which should resolve the problem.
