Title: CDQ question
Post by: LordCove on October 19, 2006, 10:47:54 am
Hi....just a few questions please.

I've requested A CDQ for my character...but wondered:

The outcome is likely to be a big change to my character....for better or worse.
If the outcome is also to shift my alignment....

b) If I successfully complete the CDQ, and my alignment raises because of it....could failure result in dropping slightly in alignment to show the change in his personality ( affected by the failure to complete whatever he has to do)....which I would prefer if possible. Failure would probably pull my character into depression, making him bitter.

Thanks

I am not sure what the CDQ is so can't really say how much of a change in alignment it would allow, that is up to the GM running the quest. But a CDQ will never change alignments very much, certainly not enough to go from one alignment to another.

So to answer your question, yes CDQ's can change alignments but not a whole lot in the bigger picture of things.
