Biography:

Aonair stands around 2'7" with a slim build. His eye's are a sullen volcanic blue, burning with anger.

He's a bit of mystery even to himself, he remembers, vaguely of his former life. Only flashes come to him. At age 25 he awoken, lost, alone, in a forest.

After seeking out a nearby city, he quickly learned not everyone would be understanding and offering a helping hand. Thought of nothing more than a beggar, Aonair chose to take what he thought was rightfully his.

He used his skills not for the sake of safety of others but for his own selfish needs. Traveling through various cities and towns, scamming, conning, and even a bit of banditry has made him both enemies and friends.

A year of constantly having to watch over his shoulder, Aonair wishes to get back to the path of seeking out who he is, and where he came from. But will his deeds haunt him? Only his role in Layonara will tell.

This is a good start, but we need to see a little more before this can be approved.

First of all, although Aornir might not know anything about himself, we will need an OOC statement to the effect that Aonair does not have any sort of noble or privileged background, or connections that would give him an advantage over other characters (no "remembering" that he's the adopted son of a dragon-king ;)) Maybe you could tell us the content of the "flashes of memory"?

Second, this biography comes across as very CN - he lies, cheats, and steals, and there doesn't seem to be anything that pulls him him back towards neutral. When you revise this, you might think about using this to give us a stronger sense of Aonair's personality as well (we know how he acts, but little about what he's like as a person). Perhaps you can tell us how he made the friends (and enemies) you allude to?

As far as the class, we don't need very much, but just a little bit to tell us how he learned the tools of the trade - particularly because such a diverse group of people may have the rogue class, and because of the wide range of skills the rogue class has access to.

Finally, the biography doesn't say how he encountered Branderback, and why and how he worships him. Given that putting a deity in the field implies a high degree of devotion and adherence to the dogma, you need to provide some info regarding Aonair's worship of Branderback in order to be approved with the deity in the field.

Actually, I posted this submission before I realized I submitted a character in 08' but just now created him LOL. But I'm here to stay, Layonara is the best.

Not to digress and on to the point. I want to focus on my main Livius. So is it possible to just deleted this submission, or throw him into the Character Library in case someone wanted to run with the idea (albeit more original and detailed)?
