  Miscellaneous Information:
King’s Landing, as the name suggests, is where the King first landed on Rilara after sending some of his finest men to pacify as much of Rilara as they could. Giants, bugbears, wild men, and feral elves alike fell to this solution to the Rilara settlement problem. The lands of the northeast were still too wild, and the southeast is primarily mountains, so the King’s advisors directed him to this spot for his ceremonial claiming of the continent. Even now in King’s Landing there stands a statue of the ancient king erecting a victorious flag on the banks where the Delwin River meets the ocean.
Milara must have a sense of historical irony, for it is said that this is also where he first set foot on the island of Rilara. Where he came from, no one knows. But his berth at this port gives the name King’s Landing a clever double meaning. As the well-buttressed city on the mouth of the southeast’s most important waterway, Milara’s presence here also has practical purpose.
Whether or not it is true that Milara landed and took control of King’s Landing, all reports document that this city is falling further and further into a state of lawless frenzy. The streets, it is said, are littered with corpses and looted possessions. The city elite have abandoned the town and the guards do more work keeping the wild commoners within the city than keeping any invading army without. The nearby cities of Wyk and Lann have done all that they can to keep the waves of King’s Landers at bay. From the state of these towns it is easy to see that they are not very successful.
