trivial items

If some thing is trivial to make can it be set back to mass producible, I know that will add another "if then" or "case" to the script but I am sure the load will be lower then a crafter sitting at the forge (or whatever) and clicking away many times to finish a bunch of items that he/she cant fail at. Just a thought.

cheers

Not likely to happen.
Things are limited for more reasons than just preventing XP abuse.
There's also no practical reason why someone who's really good at something can make unrealistic amounts of a particular thing in one singular effort. It may seem silly when the item is metal ingots or something, but when the item is longswords (and yes, these do eventually become trivial) it's not so silly.

good point on the long sword thing. But I try to keep in mind that this is a fantasy setting and some things are just not RL bound. Such as the crazy amount of stuff one can carry. It is not the weight it is the bulk. I am a archer in RL and if I tried to lug around 800 or 900 arrows it would not be pretty, just 3 dozen is a lot :) anyway I see your point.

Cheers,

Yeah true...it is fantasy and not always bound by reality. However, prior to limits we had problems in general with a market flooded with items. Since crafters did not limit themselves, we have had to limit them through game mechanics.
There's a balance we have to keep between being fun and making sure everything works together. We understand this makes some things more tedious, but unfortunately it's necessary.
