Weapons to Ingots

It should be possible to beat a weapon back into an ingot of the metal they are made out of.

All enchantments, etc, would be lost, of course.

Actually the training books of CNR that are sold in the craft vendor, says it's posible, yet It turned to be wrong.

This is also the case for armorcrafting.

I haven't seen the books lately, but back when Lance started to make weapons and armors was like I wrote up.

I don't know if that has been corrected to reflect the right information

On armorcrafting there are written also some options that aren't posible to do on practice, like adding gold to any armor in order to achieve some effect

I think you'll see, this has been an area of consideration over the years but the reasoning behind this not happening has been one of balancing.

He.. Well I was just explaining that the information on the books were wrong, not actually complaing..

I think those how-to books were hold-overs from a prior version...beta 4, perhaps? Anyway they were probably forgotten and never updated.
