*opens his book and glances down the rocky corridor of a cave*

I've had to rest in the bottom of a cave. It's rel nice, because just before I lay down, Tyrian showed me some vampires that SHE wouldn't fight. Great.

*hears a clatter down the corridor and snaps his book shut, diving under his bed roll*

I don't like having to be up front in combat. I with Lindara now, and I've been helping her sneak around. She can already sneak past me! Anyway, we were on the bridge over the river (were still here) and a darn mage put her to sleep. So I was fighting a mage and a crazy and the bridge while she slept! She woke up just in time. Just as she woke up, I went down. She just had to cover me in potions, while I got up and slashed, and went down, and got up, until I finally struck the last blow on the crazy one. Then it was all over for the mage. We also went to the crypts in Vehl, and the sewers In Hempstead. In the crypts she put a worm in my pants. It'll be a hand-me-down to Chaynce. I'll put it in his helm. She caught me getting her back by putting a few goblin ears in her pants. She's becoming a decent scout. A sign that I'm doing a good job teaching her. But I'm worried that she'll add her own tactics onto mine and get better then me. I hope not. Then she might do what I do to Chaynce to me. But she needs better gear I'll have to dig through my bank chest. I heard that Storand's free. Darn it, he's hurt me enough without him roaming the area. Hope no bodaks follow him. But they probably will.

Well, I went down the Silkwood cave with Chaynce. Not a lotta fun being bitten by them. And I need more arrows. But, me and Chaynce were DEEP. Like, HE said, 'Turn around, I dont like the looks of that one'. Chaynce NEVER does that! And, once again, A large mean spider started picking on me. I wasn't even shooting him at the time!(Ok, I was, but I had stopped to cast a spell...) I wonder how Chaynce feels...

Well, that went badly. I was in the deep parts of Dragon Isles. Like... there were drows. I think that we were close to the Underdark (whatever that is). There were lots of trolls too. They bopped me over the head a good one, and all went dark. But when I got up, I was back in the cave with the trolls. So the adventure continued (although I later found out that the guy who brought me back was a Mistite). But on the way back, A treant caught up with us, and Everything went dark again. And the Soul Mother got me...

But bad things aside, Andrew left me his doggie to train! The dogs so big, I bet I can ride him! He has a suspicious aroma of pie, though... But anyway, thats what happened today!

*closes his book and lays down*

*A note is sipped into the book*

My Best Moments

1. The chicken poop on the doorstep incident.

2. The tripping chicken incident.

3. The pie competition.

4. When Daniella wore a dress, until she got really mad...

5. The 'I'm cold' adventure.

I'll add more as they come in. These are my best incidents so for...

*Alton walks into his room in the Twin Dragon, pulls out his journal, and plops down on his bed*

Well, I think I found a way to make some trues! Did I write that I started learning how to cook? Well... I finally made some stuff I think Tyrian might want to have in that big crate she keeps my pies in! I got some bread, it's wheat and corn, and I roasted some doggie. The doggie attacked me, and I didn't mean to kill it... but I decided to cook it so that it didn't go to wast. Anyway, I think I'll put these together and make a bunch of sandwiches! Then I'll sell them to Tyrian for the Inn! I hope that she wants it... But if she does, I think I might have a run to get to be the Inn's cook! I'm kind of sick of the stalls...

*tosses his journal onto a crate and lays on the bed to relax*

*pulls his journal out of his new clothes and sits down with a quill and ink*

Well, I got plenty of new stuff yesterday. New swords, new clothes, a new ring... The swords are made out of something called adamantium, and the clothes are interwoven with some platinum strands. They seem to take the edge off of sharp weapons. The ring is a nice little one, I don't know how Tyrian managed to make it my size. Her tools seem awfully big to make halfling-sized jewelery.

Tyrian also let me start handling some of the Inn's business. I already got a sale that got rid of a whole crate of inventory. They were little rocks,  but one time  when I went to sell one of them to a big tower, she said that if I poked it, I might die! I decided not to take my chances and just take it straight to the tower. But the dwarf that bought the whole inventory of these rocks said he only wanted them because he didn't have magic. First, let me say that I don't do much magic, and I don't need 20,000 trues worth of magic rocks, and we got three orders for these stones in a month. Before this, we never got an order for them. Ever. So I was wondering why they JUST got so useful if you didn't have much magic. I suppose that I can't argue with 20,000 trues, but still... I hope these rocks are fighting these Dragon people instead of us...

*shrugs, tosses his journal under his bed, and kicks back*

*after crawling about under his bed for quite some time, in search of his journal, Alton finally comes out from under the frame triunphantly holding his small black book. He anxiously writes in it standing, as if very excited. the writing is shaky as well.*

Today I might get to go to a place I haven't been in years! There are these frozen marshes up North, and Chaynce and I might have got some people together that we can go adventure up there with! Last thing I saw up there was these big ugly squishyes that my arrows stuck into nicely! I can't wait to go there! It's so cold and Daniella's coming!

*looks up, grinning mischievously*

Anyway, today I get to g somewhere almost new! I'm so excited! This is going to be so fun! If we live...

*Alton releases a bird and then opens his journal*

I had a big boom idea today! I call it 'Operation Alton: Make the Mean Dragon People Burn'! It involves putting a lot of fire bombs or alchemist's fire into the launcher of a catapult! Then when the dragon people come, we launch them and make a big BOOM! It'll make them so mad! And also, I could lay a bunch of traps all around, and the mean people would get mad and stuck. AND, if Chaynce casts a bunch of 'Delayed Blast Fireballs', we could make a raging inferno that would make us WIN!

That must have been the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me. I still blame it on the mad wizard who animated those cursed Bank Chests. I was in this cool hole in the ground with SehKy and Chaynce, and Suddenly these two crates attacked us! I think we all had a bad day in there.

But I've been studying my elven hard! I can say Chaynce, SehKy, Hello, Goodbye, and attack now!

I'm selling a lot of junk! I think the profits will be enough to pay for a pony, and more!

Whew!
I took up another couple crafts, mainly jewelry making. It's harder than Tyrian makes it look! I put an add up for two rings, and a man requested 12 more! 12 whole rings! All the metal, all the stones.. It was so hard! But I did find a sweet place for me now that I make jewelry on Alindor. It is a cave FULL of GOLD!! Now I can get all the supplies for enchanted rings to make people more powerful. I just need to learn to enchant stones... only one more thing on my to-do list! Lindara is also proving herself to be quite useful in crafting. She has somehow learned to brew potions, and tinker. Those crafts are important to mine, as mine are to her's. Together we can make lots of cool stuff!

*tears smear much of the ink on the page, but they only make the meaning of the entry clearer*

Chaynce Baldumu'ur is dead. He died a hero against the Cult, he will always be remembered.
Rest in peace.
And Chaynce, I will try to get you back.

*he dusts the old book off and snickers, opening to the next blank page*

I think I have very successfully filled in for Chaynce's part of annoying Daniella. Recently, I gathered a bucket of banana peels on Daniella's doorstep for that silly Toranite program. I can't wait for the trap to be sprung. I've got to start writing down more ideas on how to bug her. I'm thinking about putting a bucket of water on the door for them. Daniella's gonna have to move her Toranite thingy out of my area, that's for sure.

SehKy temporarily turned me pink. Some silly spell he learned to make my skin all rosy before we entered the spider caves. Luckily, it undid itself... or maybe SehKy undid it... but it doesn't matter. At least I'm all nice and normal again. But we didn't see the massive oversized bloated mean killer horse-eating spider again. Thank goodness. Although, aside from turning me pink, before that, he made me pick flowers for someone he thought I'd like. Turns out, she wasn't half bad, but she did offer me a ride on her pet Griffon. Not sure I should trust that, but oh well.

Saw a nice little doggy today. The poor thing had a thorn in its paw. I managed to calm it down enough to remove the thorn, and the pup licked me a lot before running off. I hope i do see it again.

I got a pony today! He's in the stables now. I named him Chaynce. Took him on a ride today, and he's fast! I love riding him, but shooting a bow from horseback is another story.

I learned how to summon a bear today! The woods gifted me the power to call a big brown bear. Chaynce is a bit scared of it, but he'll get over it. He got over Stan after a while. I've been working on my shooting, hitting my opponents soft spots. Hanging around the arena has taught me a thing or two.

I've been noticing that Tyrian seems to be getting a little older. Her hair has been lightening up, and she seems a bit more frail. That probably means I'll be doing more of the work at the Twin Dragon. Chaynce does help with the commute now though. And there is some nice woods between my house and Leringaurd.

I recently purchased a yew bow. I placed an order for 10,000 arrows, and I think I'll enchant it to shoot those arrows permanently!
