Belaruth Dawnbreaker - Warrior of Toran

*Belaruth settles on the small log bench in Center, relieved to be out of his armor and taking a rest. He opens a meticulously maintained journal bearing the symbol of Toran, and begins to write*By Toran's light it is good to rest. Michael and I have already brought a great deal of the judgement of Toran to Center and the surrounding areas. We assisted a sewer keeper in Port Hempstead to test our skills, purged some foul undead from a crypt below Center, set back the nefarious activities of some kobolds meddling with dark magics, and brought retribution upon a whole castle of undead and dark monstrosities, as well as an especially nasty monster in the surrounding forests. Truly we have brought many triumphs in Toran's name! I parted ways with my dear brother outside Hempstead, as we both had separate agendas we desired to fill. In the morning I believe I will attempt to deal with a goblin problem near Hlint, but for now I rest.    Toran Be Praised - Belaruth Dawnbreaker

*Belaruth once again sets down on a log bench in Center. He pulls his neat journal from his pack, flipping to the next open page*Another long day, though a pleasant one. The first one spent without the company of Michael. For a long while, I assisted with the kobolds once again. They seem to sprout up faster than you can cut them down. Then cleared a sea cave in Windjammers of some Saguahin. As I set out to Hlint to deal with goblin attacks on the roads, I met an amiable wizard named Sibbicai. Truly a good man, this one. May Toran's light shine upon him as he travels. With his assistance, I was able to take the head of the Red Fang goblin's leader, and return an old family heirloom to a distraught bard in Hlint. I thank Toran for the opportunity to bring his light to Hlint, as the goblins had become a dire threat to many travellers. I hope I have done my Lord's work well, and that the citizens there can know peace from those wretched monsters for a while. I stopped by the Temple of Toran in Fort Llast on my return trip from Hlint. So many memories there. My happiest and saddest days I have spent in those temple walls. I could have searched for the scorch mark that was the old farmhouse, but it is undoubtedly long gone by now. My closing thought for the day, is that I must remember to make each action I do a work toward the betterment of this world. Lord Toran has cast his blessings upon me, and I shall not disappoint him. Toran Be Praised - Belaruth Dawnbreaker

ccroft323:
*As Belaruth prepares himself for another day, he recites his prayers to Toran, deciding to write before he sets off*As I set off once again in service of my lord, I reflect upon my purpose here as an agent of Toran's will. In my every action I must strive to fulfill the ideals of my lord, and bring his light to the darkness of this world. I only hope I can become a better vessel of Toran's grace in the future.Toran Be Praised - Belaruth Dawnbreaker*With this, he closes his journal, places it in his pack, and sets off to fight once more*

ccroft323:
*Belaruth shakes snow from his pack, having just disembarked a ship from Krashin on the Leringard docks. He enters the nearby inn and sits down to write*Toran be praised, for this land is full of kind souls! I have met a druid by the name of Evelyn, and together we cleared a cave in Krashin of a kobold threat, as well as slaying some especially tough goblins. I do not believe I would have had the strength to carry out such a service to Lord Toran on my own, but with her assistance we brought judgement upon them with ease. The cold was a nice change of pace from the arid beaches of Windjammers and the docks of Port Hempstead. I do very much hope I cross paths with her again, for she is a friendly soul and a powerful ally. As always, I hope that my actions help the people in the area find peace, and that Lord Toran smiles upon my works. Toran Be Praised - Belaruth Dawnbreaker*He places his journal back into his pack, preparing to rent a room for a proper night's rest*

ccroft323:
*Belaruth practically collapses on the small log bench in Center.  Tiredly, he pulls out his journal and prepares to write*I have had my most trying pursuit yet on this day. I encountered Sibbicai once more, on the road to Port Hempstead. He informed me that he had business in Dregar, and I accompanied him upon it. I figured it would be a more grand task than what I was currently involved in, and I was not disappointed. We fought droves of forest giants in the woods outside of Prantz. I do hope Lord Toran saw me, as it is likely some of my finest moments were had in these battles. Fighting such menacing creatures, and in such numbers, made the service to my lord feel so much more grand. Truly Toran blesses my journies, as he has gifted me with good friends and proper challenges! I shant disappoint my lord in the face of these adversities. Rather, I must strive to rise above them and become a better vessel for Toran's light. And if ever I perish in the pursuit of this, let this journal be the record that states my purpose, and the assurance that I did not die without a fight!Toran Be Praised - Belaruth Dawnbreaker*With this, he packs up his things and falls into a deep sleep*
