Champion of Toran question
« on: October 16, 2004, 01:04:00 am »
I am weighing the advancement of my Paladin as a Champion of Toran or just as a Paladin.  He is currently 7th level and now meets the conditions to advance as a Champion of Toran.  The only disadvantage I can think of is in the area of turning undead.   This will be important as my character is an undead hunter.  The book says that the "Paladins level and Charisma are used to determine how many hit die of undead are turned"  The question I have is does this just use the Paladin level or will the Champion of Toran levels also count on this ability?  Also does the Champion of Toran Smite evil stack with the Paladin's allowing him to do it twice per day or not?  Lastly do the Champion of Toran levels count towards adding Paladin spells?  Thanks for the help.

CoT levels help with your smite, but you only still have one smite.

CoT levels don't help your turn undead nor paladin spells.
